" TechAnimators started on January 1, 2024. I was friends with a few amazing animatronic creators and decided to form a group for the best fnaf animatronic creators. So, I told Simon's Animatronics, Goodman Robotics, and Fastpass Facts about it. They thought the idea was cool and joined the alliance. Since then, I have been inviting more and more talented animatronic creators to join. Now, the alliance has lots of amazing members. "
" I started creating animatronics back in 2021 when I got hold of a 3D printer. Ever since I have been creating prototypes for a springlock suit concept. I have made a YouTube channel where I talk about these projects; called TechnoFur. So far I have made two Springbonnie heads with a third on the way as well as an endoskeleton. My future projects are a full springlock suit; original animatronic and of course a whole animated series! "
" My journey into the world of robotics and animatronic creation commenced in late December/early 2023. As a curious child at the age of 7, I became captivated by the concept of robots, indulging in videos, movies, and anything related to the subject. The pivotal moment occurred when I discovered the game Five Nights at Freddy's 1, sparking a profound fascination with animatronics roaming around a pizza joint. I couldn't stop talking about the game once I found it. Fast forward six years, I started following creators like Da Regular Sauce and Vomited Thoughts, absorbing every piece of knowledge available. Inspired, I decided to try my hand at crafting a Golden Freddy/Yellow Bear costume for Halloween 2021.
2021:
In mid-July, I embarked on the ambitious task of building the suit. However, by October, all I had accomplished was one leg and a foot, just five days before Halloween. Faced with the looming deadline, I chose to postpone the project, determined to try again the following year.
2022:
In September 2022, I set my sights on creating a Spring Bonnie suit. Armed with my first 3D printer, the Ender 3, I encountered a setback – I hadn't mastered the art of properly scaling the parts to my size. Opting for a trial-and-error approach, I printed the parts as large as possible, only to find they were too small to fit. Undeterred, I decided to try again the next year.
2023:
Starting in late January, I took a different approach, opting for a simpler Freddy Fazbear suit. I invested in a second printer, the Ender 3, to expedite the printing process. In early March, I added a third and most recent printer, the Anycubic Kobra Max. Despite the investments, the attempts were still unsuccessful.
Mid-2023 marked a shift as I began developing my first animatronic in June, repurposing the scrapped parts of the Freddy suit to create a homemade endoskeleton from PVC pipes. Although I made significant progress, the project faced a setback, but that didn't dampen my spirits. By September 2023, I had partially completed a Bon Bon hand puppet animatronic but had to put it on pause. In November 2023, I embarked on my closest-to-finished project, the Endo 02 animatronic. Intended as a universal endoskeleton adaptable to any suit, the project reached 95% completion. However, issues arose, with everything held together by hot glue and servos proving insufficiently strong. Despite the setbacks, I celebrated the progress made.
As of March 2024, I'm currently engrossed in a Spring Bonnie animatronic project, set to conclude around August. This ongoing journey has been marked by challenges, setbacks, and valuable lessons, each contributing to my growth in the fascinating realm of robotics and animatronic creation. "
" I started building robots in 2019. But back then I hadn't informed myself yet, so it took me several attempts and I developed for a long time until I built Fredbear at the beginning of 2024. My first robot actually only consisted of a shell. The second was made of wood. The first robot that could move was my third version, but I had to improve it again. And that's how I came up with my fourth version, Fredbear. For Springbonnie I then 3d printed the same endoskeleton and just used a different mask. Over time I got better and better and learned more and more about robots and was able to perfect my work. I often lost interest along the way, but other robot builders like VomitedThoughts kept me interested and now I have 2 robots of my own. I'll still build the bodies in the future and maybe open Fredbears Family Diner. "
" It all started in early - mid 2023 when I saw this wacky guy on the internet (Vomited Thoughts) I thought to myself "that's really cool". I then kept it at the back of the head until the thought just kept pacing and pacing until I started saving up for a printer (October). I save around $150 in the first 2 months and then got Christmas money. Until I finally could buy an ender 3, unluckily the ender 3 was out of stock so I bought a more expensive one (ender 3 neo) I am glad that I bought that one as it had cr touch. I then found a discord server(Animatronic Heaven) where everyone made animatronics. So I joined it and then found a few files for an animatronic, with 2 months, I nearly completed the head of it but gave up. Now I'm striving making other projects like show props and am currently designing my own animatronic. In the midst of my original animatronic I participated in this new trend animatronic takeover. It was new and fresh, and I wouldve liked to promote animatronics too. "
" My journey started back in June 2023 when I stumbled upon "Vomited Thoughts" and got inspired to make my own animatronic. It was just a dream until Christmas rolled around and I got a 3D printer. That's when things kicked into gear, and I began crafting the skeleton, or endo, of my animatronic. Since then, I've been putting in a lot of work, learning as I go and meeting other folks who are into animatronics like you. It's been a wild ride, full of trial and error, but I'm making progress. Still got a ways to go though. Hoping to finish it up in the next few months. It's been cool seeing my dream slowly take shape, and I can't wait to see the final result. But for now, it's just me and my printer, chipping away at it every day. "
" I sketch bon bon mechanism based on fnaf movie eye mechanism and vt bon bon then started working on the models back in the end of December 2024 and just started printing in February, the project is still ongoing as in march and as I make progress I am also constantly changing the models as I go, once I finalize it I will plan on releasing it on Etsy just the raw prints and later on when I got time I will make another bon bon making it smaller and cheaper I still got more project planned such as life size fnaf movie foxy animatronic , battington Freddy animatronic head and I do intent on selling my projects whether it be fnaf or not. "
" I wanted to build a Halloween animatronic, so I got a stepper motor and an Arduino. Then I noticed, "OMG, I can't do this!" and Halloween passed by. Almost a year later, I saw a Fastpass Facts video about fan-built FNAF animatronics. I thought, "I can't do that, right?" Then I saw Simon's animatronics, and this time I thought, "I can do that... later." Then I saw the first animatronic takeover video, and I decided, "Now I'm gonna do it." And, well, I did it. "
" I personally joined the big ol' FNaF train in early 2015 just before the third game was released when most people were content with just making gameplay videos and animations. Actually making the animatronics wasn't really a thing back then. The idea of recreating characters from the series came to me around 2019 after seeing some of the things a few people had done. Each one was impressive in its own right but they all had their flaws as everything does. Limited movement, inaccuracies and the like. Back then, I planned to make FNaF 1 Bonnie but being rather younger then than I am now, I didn't really have the ability to actually make something like that. Didn't stop me from sneakily drawing up some rough designs whenever I could in school. Then when Security Breach came out a few years later, I took one look at the Glamrocks and thought 'Wicked! I'll do them instead.' And so eventually after some back and forth thinking I bought myself a 3D printer. Starting off with some smaller things like small models of various thing to get used to the software. Blender especially took a while to get used to but after about 3000 hours (As of 26/07/24) I think I've got the hang of it. Some point along the way I stumbled across the RLA project. A group based around making the animatronics in real life. About a year later and I'm a Mod for the discord server. After some thinking I went with making Roxanne Wolf first. I decided that she would be the hardest of the main four to actually make due to her smaller shell and the fact that she has ears and tail but still possible to make. After using ratios to calculate the proper height, on January first of 2024, the project began. It took over three months to actually get a more or less complete design for just the head. This is partially because the space is much smaller than it looks but mainly because I absolutely refused to compromise unless I had to. This made fitting everything in rather difficult and inevitably once you have come up with a method and printed everything, you will find far a better way, so you end up doing it all over again. Mistakes are a brilliant teacher, one of the best in fact. Now as I write this, I'm a little stuck with the hands. The thumbs in particular are far more complicated than they have any right being. But that's just the now. I have the arms, legs and chest to do yet. My vision for Roxanne was to make her as accurate to the games as possible. When she is finished, she should be comparable to a human being in strength and mobility. In just this year I have learned so much and until now I hadn't realised how amazing the human body is. If there was one thing I would want you to take away from this, it would be 'Do not let anyone else tell you what you can or cannot do.' I have been fortunate enough that I can do this kind of thing with relative ease without having to worry about money or anything else, but that doesn't mean you can't do it too. You can do anything if you really want. That doesn't mean it will be easy, far from it usually. But it's still possible. "
" Well it first started out in October 2022 I wanted to make a Freddy fazbear animatronic I made the Endo, it was gonna be remote controlled and only had two servos sadly it never worked cause the battery wouldn’t charge.
So I scrapped it and restarted in April 2023 with my first working prototype Endo head. It was scrapped due to being too big for Freddy's mask and the second head was made. Then I made the first working prototype. The cosmetics didn't look like withered Freddy tho. So now I'm reworking on him and now I'm working on foxy too. So hopefully by July both will be done."
